Privacy policy

What we collect. Outfit My Vehicle does not require an account, and we never ask for your name, address, or payment details. We collect anonymous usage analytics: pages viewed, gear links clicked, and the vehicle and activity choices you make while building. This helps us understand which builds and gear people care about.

Email addresses. If you request a vehicle we don't cover yet, you can leave an email address so we can tell you when it's added. That is the only place we collect an email. We use it for that one notification and nothing else, and we never sell or share it.

Cookies and similar technologies. We and our analytics provider PostHog use cookies and browser storage to count visits and understand how the site is used. We also use your browser's local storage to remember choices like your selected vehicle. Third parties we link to, including Amazon and other retailers, may set their own cookies when you visit their sites through our links. None of the data we collect identifies you personally.

Affiliate links. Some links on this site go to retailers, including Amazon. If you click one, that retailer may use cookies to attribute the visit, and its own privacy policy applies from there. As an Amazon Associate, Outfit My Vehicle earns from qualifying purchases.

Who sees the data. Analytics are processed by PostHog and stored in our own database hosted on Supabase. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Your choices. You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser and the site will still work. If you prefer not to be counted in analytics, blocking cookies for this site does that. To have an email you submitted removed, contact us and we will delete it.

Children. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
